Disorientation is a medium to creating novel approaches to movement, expression and creature evolution. Owen investigates this new world of metal and textiles through the momentum and elasticity of his body. Spidery limbs contrast grace with awkwardness to find innovative patterns and shapes in and around the hoop.
TECHNICAL VERSIONS:
Static / Short Act
Owen can perform a 3-minute act without swinging or raising up and down.
A minimum rigging height of 15ft is required.
Swinging / Full Act
Owen can perform a 5-7-minute act with swinging and raising up and down.
This version requires a minimum rigging height of 25ft (30’ – 35’ is ideal).
Specific act creations/configurations are available upon request.
